Getting Here

Gunnison is located in the central Colorado Rockies. U.S. Highway 50, a major all-weather highway, connects Gunnison with Interstate 25 in Pueblo and Interstate 70 in Grand Junction. This connection with major highways makes Gunnison an easy destination from Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, and Denver. Highway 135 connects Gunnison to Crested Butte, 30 miles to the north. Gunnison County Airport, a major year-round hub is the only airport above 7,500 feet with the facilities and runway to accommodate 757 aircrafts. Year-round service is provided to Denver, with expanded service in the winter season.
